Roundtable on Digital Sovereign Identity 11-06-2020

Co-organized by the STOA Committee, the European Law Observatory on New Technologies-ELONTech and IoT Council

On June 11th, 2020 the European Law Observatory on New Technologies-ELONTech, in collaboration with IoT Council, had the honor to coorganize this event with the STOA Committee of the European Parliament, who was also the host of the online roundtable.

Officials and experts were invited to share their insights on Digital Sovereign Identity an issue that affects the lives of every citizen, who “ navigate a complex legal and technical infrastructure. As digital identities become increasingly important, it is worth considering how this infrastructure can be made more trustworthy, empowering users while increasing the availability of data and ensuring citizens’ safety and privacy”.
