Anna Maria Tonikidou

Anna Maria Tonikidou is a lawyer holding an LLM in Corporate Law from the University of Heidelberg, an LLM in International and European Business Law from KU Leuven, and a MLaw with a focus on Financial Law from the University of Zurich.

She has collaborated with law firms, institutions and start-up projects in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the UK and the US.

Currently, she is practising law in Zurich focusing on blockchain technology.

Anna Kaczynska

Attorney at Law and Mediator

Attorney at law since 2015, Anna Kaczyńska, is a member of Regional Bar Association of Attorneys at Law in Lodz, Poland, and Vice -President of its Human Rights Commission.

In her practice Anna is particularly interested in civil law and contracts, commercial, intellectual property and personal data protection law, also in connection with EU law, cross-border, international law and new technologies. As a mediator, she is focused on this scope and in addition – family law. She is active in the area of legal protection of animals rights, too.

Anna is experienced in working for private sector (including start-ups) and public one in the field of city investments and construction works.

She is very interested in international cooperation of lawyers and involved in organisation of events and trainings for lawyers especially related to innovation and new tools and technologies that can make work of lawyers more efficient and competitive on legal services market and more adapted to actual business and commercial relations, like Legal Business Forum that took place in October, 2019 in cooperation between European Association of Lawyers AEA-EAL and Lodz Bar Association of Attorneys at Law.

Anna during her law studies spent one year in France, Pau, within the framework of Erasmus students exchange scheme. Besides law, she is also a philologist with specialisation in English and French.

Dimitra Stefanatou

Dimitra obtained a law degree from Democritus University of Thrace, (Greece, 2004) and a Master 2 in Communication Law from University Paris II-Assas, in (France, 2007). Dimitra has been a member of Athens’ Bar Association (2006-present) and she has worked as an associate at the Hellenic Audiovisual Institute involved in research in media law (2009-2011).

For the period 2012-2016, Dimitra worked as a legal researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Law and Technology at KU Leuven (Belgium) and at Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT, Tilburg University, the Netherlands) involved in EU research projects addressing – among other – data protection considerations in the context of new technologies.

Currently, Dimitra is involved in EU funded research on internet of things and is a member of a specialist tasks on privacy and security matters in the internet of things environment funded by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

He holds a University Degree in Applied Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a double Master Degree in Local Development from the University of Blaise-Pascal and the Engineering School of the University of Thessaly and a PhD in Computer Science – Artificial Intelligence from the University of Macedonia. His research and innovation projects deal with Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence applied in Human-Machine Collaboration and more precisely in the Human-Robot Collaboration for the Industry 4.0, the Biomedical Engineering and the Creative and Cultural Industries. He is involved in a number of European projects and he has strong collaboration with startups and industrial groups, such as PSA, CRF, SAGEM and a number of Creative and Cultural Industries. His research focuses on movement-based human-machine collaboration and Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence in general. He leads the Post-Master’s Degree AIMove – “Artificial Intelligence and Movement in Industries and Creation”, which is supported by European academic and professional leaders of the field. Moreover, he is the President of the GAIIA Association (Gesture & AI in Industry and Arts) and the Head of IT researchers group at the ElonTech Observatory in law and new technologies.

Petros Terzis

She has a PhD in Public and Tax Law from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (unanimously excellent). She is a post-doc Researcher at the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and Scientific Associate-Researcher at the Jean Monnet Chair on EU Tax Policy and Administration of the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). Her post-doc research is co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund- ESF) through the Operational Programme «Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning» in the context of the project “Reinforcement of Postdoctoral Researchers – 2nd Cycle” (MIS-5033021), implemented by the State Scholarships Foundation (ΙΚΥ). Dr. Vasiliki Athanasaki is a tax and transfer pricing expert as well as a tax litigation expert, specialized in EU and international tax law. She has a total of 7-years-experience in Big4 companies (PwC and Deloitte), while for almost 3 years she was an associate in law firms, specializing in tax law. Dr. Vasiliki Athanasaki has extensive publications in various tax/financial and legal journals and has attended various tax, transfer pricing and legal seminars as a speaker. She is the author of various books on tax law and numerous articles in Greek and foreign/international tax/legal journals and newspapers.
